Life along the Greensprings Interpretive Trail and the Virginia Capital Trail as seen through my eyes, a neighbor of the trail. Also includes natural and historical areas around the trail. This park is located in Williamsburg, Va near Historic Jamestown in the Greensprings area of James City County. A great location for nature hikes, bird enthusiasts and cyclist visiting the area.

The first photo are turtles basking in the sun along the cross boardwalk in the middle of the wetlands. Next is a blacksnake that started crossing behind me. I had walked up to Mainland farm, took a few photos and turned around to find him. I know snakes have their place in this world, but I hate snakes. I stomped a few times and then he went off the trail and I ran by. Literally, I was running. I know, he is harmless. Next is a Canada Geese on the side of the wetlands, a Heron was out in the middle as I came back across and then two Geese flew in squawking and makiing a lot of noise.
