Life along the Greensprings Interpretive Trail and the Virginia Capital Trail as seen through my eyes, a neighbor of the trail. Also includes natural and historical areas around the trail. This park is located in Williamsburg, Va near Historic Jamestown in the Greensprings area of James City County. A great location for nature hikes, bird enthusiasts and cyclist visiting the area.

Welcome to my Blog
Welcome!!! I am new to blogging and fairly new to living along the Greensprings Trail. We are approximately 2 miles from Jamestown Island and live along the wetlands that has been called "the beaver pond" and is currently known as Greensprings Interpretive Trail and the Virginia Capital trail. I have been able to capture many photographs of the scenery and the wildlife living along the trail. I am often seen on the trail with my half grown puppy. I wanted to take this opportunity to learn more about the history of the area and to share the beauty that is here. When I refer to "the trail" from now on I am talking about both trails because they merge here and I pass from one to the other often. I would like to add a guest list so if you have visited the trail or live along the trail you may sign in as "Friends of the Trail" and post one or two photos of your visit. I or members of our family have met several people out on a birding expedition, cycling down through our historic areas or just walking their dog. Visitors I have met have been from Austrailia and England.
